Pistols

We understand recent events may have raised concerns about the safety of prop guns in theatrical productions. We want to reassure you about the safety of our stage-safe blank-fire replicas.

  1. Designed for Stage Use: Our replicas are purpose-built for theatrical productions and are not real firearms. It is impossible for any discharge to come out of the barrels. They are crafted with advanced safety features to ensure a realistic yet secure portrayal on stage.
  2. Proven Safety Record: There has never been a fatality from firing a stage-safe gun. It’s important to note that the tragic incidents reported in the media have all involved the use of real guns as props, not properly designed stage-safe replicas such as ours.
  3. Compliance and Support: We adhere to higher-than-industry regulations and standards, and we are here to address any concerns you might have. Please feel free to reach out for additional information or demonstrations.

G28- USED NEF starter pistols LIQUIDATION SALE

That’s right – N.E.F. s that I have pulled out of replica pistols, muskets and rifles from the rental stock. Some had the barrels cut off, some had the grips shortened, a hammer shaved – anything to get them inside the replicas. But the working parts were never touched. Perfect for an off-stage noise maker. Get the best starter pistol ever made at a huge savings.

LANCASTERF21 – LANCASTER

Finally, “dueling pistols” that can fire safely – because the outer barrels are completely false! The hammer does cock back but the ramrod cannot be removed. An NEF starter pistol is hidden inside; 16″ diagonal measurement.  I have six of them left. – 9 shots before reloading.

22 cal blank-fire – [$ 55.75/month]            or buy it today for $187

F25 – FRONTIER

The grip style can take this gun all the way into the 1910’s.  And that is a comforting NEF starter pistol inside to provide the sound and fury! 9½ inches diagonal measurement, 1¾ lbs.    This is the only one ever made.   – 9 shots before reloading.

22 cal blank-fire[$ 55.75/month]                                or buy it today for $187

Z02 – Basic Flintlock Pistol Frog

I created this version with a slight angle to better hold the above three pistols (or any flintlock/pirate pistol replica) in place. In brown leather.

to rent – $7.00/month          to buy – $41

TWO-SHOT POCKET DERRINGERF45 – TWO-SHOT POCKET DERRINGER

Only 5 inches long. blank-firing 6mm.   [$ 25.60/month]     Brand new – selling elsewhere for $128 ; six left. No rental on these: sales only.    (buy one today for only $40)

[FYI:  The mechanism that automatically switches from one barrel to the next is not the most reliable, and sometimes both shots go off with one pull of the trigger. That breaks down the gun pretty quickly. Therefore only the very small 6mm rimmed “acorn” blanks should be used with this model. Even though it can fire heavier .22 caliber blanks, you really shouldn’t use them. Those are just too strong for this little pistol]

F50 – PEACEMAKER

The typical cowboy revolvers.
These block-barreled replicas work only in single-action, just as the originals did (you must pull the hammer back before squeezing the trigger for each shot). So for multiple shots you need a very active thumb. Hammer to barrel tip = 8″. Original price = $180.

to rent:
F50: 22 cal blank-fire, black – [$42.50/month]

F44: non-firing, black (all of the action works, but I have only one left.) – [$18.00/month]

to buy:
F50: 22 cal blank-fire, black – $115Customer favorite – only 10 left

F44: non-firing, black – $71 – Sorry, down to this last one.

F56 – BLACKHAWK

We took some very reliable N.E.F. starter pistols and rebuilt the grips and barrels to give them a Western profile. As opposed to the Peacemaker above, these can fire in either single or double action (squeeze the trigger – it goes bang). [The barrels are usually a bit loose – secure, but wobbly. Nothing I can do about it.] Hammer to barrel tip = 8½ to 9½”

22 cal blank-fire – [$ 55.75/month]                or buy it today for $187

F37 – OVERCOAT

Another dressed up N.E.F. starter pistol. Mahogany grip, slightly ornate snub nose barrel. Stout and reliable. 8″ diagonal measurement; 1½” thick grip. 1½ lbs.

22 cal blank-fire – [$ 40/month]                or buy it today for $110

F88 – STEAMPUNK
julesverne-001

Just a flight of fancy. I only have two of these Weapons of Choice exclusives – a specific request for a steampunk version of  Hamlet. A little more “Jules Verne-ish” than a standard percussion revolver, and it safely fires modern blanks N.E.F. frame. – 9 shots before reloading.

22 cal blank-fire – [$ 44.00/month]            or buy it today for $185

CUSTOM TARGET PISTOL
F85 – CUSTOM TARGET PISTOL

Men of means (especially “Easterners”) might indulge themselves in having a light gun frame fitted with a long barrel and shaped grip purely for sport. Low caliber ammunition being generally cheaper than high caliber, a gentleman of leisure could spend a relaxing hour or two of target practice. He would never carry such a gun on his person, but he might keep it handy in his library. N.E.F. frame. This is the only one I have.

22 cal blank-fire – [$ 38.00/month]           or buy it today for $130

G05 – SHORT BARREL REVOLVER

Revolvers of the early part of the twentieth century look much the same as they do now, but directors don’t believe me. At least these have an “old” look, and safely fires. On top is a wide plastic gripped model, and below a slender wood grip. N.E.F. frame.

22 cal blank-fire – [$ 41.88/month]                        or buy one today for $141

G14 – CENTENNIAL

I don’t have a story for this. So let’s call it … what … a 19th century revolver? But it does fire reliably from that N.E.F. frame. 9 shot. I only made one of these.

22 cal blank-fire – [$ 35.50/month]                      or buy it today for $142

WEBLEY MkIVG06 – WEBLEY MkIV

A good blank-fire model with a European flair, these are based on the English military sidearm of WWI. Last two remain. N.E.F. frame. Hammer to barrel tip = 8″

22 cal blank-fire – [$ 45.50/month]           or buy it today for $153

G49 – SPECIAL OPS PISTOL

NOT FOUND ANYWHERE ELSE!

Want something that won’t jam, won’t deafen the audience, and uses inexpensive .22 caliber blanks? Then get one of these revolvers dressed to look like semi-autos! Yes it compromises on looks, but squeeze the trigger it will go “bang”, which is very comforting. 9 shot N.E.F. frame.  Each one is a little different, and I’m down to these last 9 – you tell me which one you want.
